Angel waving bye bye

"Angel " is my first and only white Boxer.  I did not even know white Boxers existed until I found Angel.   Now that I have Angel,  I find that  a lot of people don't either.  I do know that the whites are sometimes culled at birth.  If you plan to adopt a white Boxer, they are just as loving as any other Boxer.  To keep our pet population under control, please spay or neuter!  They live longer, and that means they will  be around to love you longer!

Angel is a our Trampoline Queen!  We always go to the trampoline to eat treats.  Most of the time, the Boxers will throw their treats around on it.  Our 2 legged kids (Marcus & Christopher) have a hard time jumping on the trampoline with them on it too!  I like to watch them outside, with the boys jumping and flipping and Angel & Salem laying down bouncing until the boys get tired of it and call "Mom! call them in the house so we can jump"!!!   My son also has a small exercise trampoline, and when Angel was younger and couldn't get on the big trampoline on her own, she would just lay on the smaller one and bask in the sun.

Angel is 3 years old in these pictures.  Until we brought Salem home she was a picky eater.  She is now a good eater and we call her Ms Piggy!  I just think she did not like to eat alone, OR, she thought Salem was  going to eat it all, and she BETTER eat if she wanted any!

May 22, 1999 - at the D'Arbonne Kennel Club Inc , Bark In The Park", Angel received her CGC Title.  I started training Angel when she was 6 months old.  I could not afford, nor did I want to send her to a trainer, so I went to my local library and checked out a few training books, and one very boring video tape.  I bought a long leash, and went out to the front yard for obedience.  Looks like it paid off, not only for her title but also for everyday life.  There is nothing better than a well behaved Boxer.  Now if I can just make my 2 legged one's behave in public :)!!

January 15, 2002 - Angel went to the vet because she was losing weight and could not hold down her food.  He did put her on Baytril and she seemed to start eating again.  But much to my surprise this is not the truth. She stayed 2 Days at the vets office.

Feb 27, 2002 -  Since she stopped eating again I took her back to the vet, and he put her on 2 antibiotics.

March 2, 2002 I had to take her to the emergency clinic, they talk to her vet and gave a shot of antibiotic  and a half bag of glucose.  I took her back on Sunday for the rest of the glucose drip.

March 5, 2002 - Angel underwent exploratory surgery, because she was losing weight, and could not hold her food down.  They did find a squeaky toy in her stomach, along with 2 tumors.  The tumors were taken out and sent to the biopsy lab, along with a biopsy of her liver.

March 9, 2002 - My sweet Angel has been diagnosed with Lymphosarcoma.  I have talk to other people in the past years and felt the sorrow they were going thru.  Now I get a real taste of their sorrow.

March 24, 2002 - My Angel's Battle is over.
I was holding My Angel when she had her last breath.

Angel had 3 little black dots on her nose when I first saw her at 3 weeks, and then she had a half blue eye when I saw her at 4 1/2 weeks old. This white girl was my baby since she was 6 weeks old.

6 years and 4 months old and 50 lbs.

I will Miss and Love My Angel Forever.

Angel is not Registered but you can see her  Pedigree  here.
