Denbar's Highway Robbery. DOM "Nikka"

Nikka was our first Boxer.  She came into our lives as my son's Christmas Wish on a snowy December night in 1993 and the world of showing and breeding was part of her package.

She was purchased with some strings attached.  I didn't know then the extent of those strings and what this puppy would bring to my life.  Bill and Marie Hargreaves of Denbar Boxer's kept nugging me into the world of showing and breeding Boxers. They became my mentor's and co-owners with Nikka and I became their partner, "Denbar Boxers of Salt Lake City".

 Nikka's  first litter proved that she was  a Ch. in the whelping box.  She produced two Champions: Ch. Denbar's Just a Dream "Jazzy" and Ch. Denbar's Penny Lane "Penny".  A second breeding came Ch. Denbar's Diamond Robbery "Robby".  As Nikka was approaching 6 my son decided we needed a Nikka puppy at our home and she was bred the third time to Ch.Berlane's Causin an Uproar "Sabre"  Producing three more Champions.

Nikka became my first DOM in 2000, producing a total of six Champions and so far she has eight Champion Grandkids.

We didn't know what a gift she was to our entire family, as she came to us at Christmas time, thus she left us also just before Christmas at 10 1/2 years of age.  We remember her through every puppy that is produced at Ensign Boxer's and we reflect back on that wonderful night she started sharing her life with us.
