Camelot Kennels is a small show kennel in Northeast Conner
of Louisiana. My first Show Beagle was purchased from Alice
Jeffrey of Sun Valley Beagles, in 1973. This dog turned out
to be
Ch Sun Valley'sTop Effort. Igor produce several
champions and BISS winners. Igor has helped along by his
mate CH Johjeans Dawn of Echo Valley. Dawn was purchased
from John Refieuna of Johjean Beagles. My breeding plans
were influenced by Judy and Tony Musladin of Whims Beagles
fame. I was indeed fortunate to be schooled by some legends
of the dog show world.
Echo
Valley Beagles produce some top dogs of its time. As
my children grew they demanded more of my time and dogs had
to go to the back burner. It was not until I saw Ch Jabrwoki's
Chanticleer that the dog show juices began to flow again. I
liked his clean refined lines and perfect movement and
gorgeous head. Not to mention his happy go lucky attitude.
He was not over loaded like some dogs. I then purchased from
Shawn and Bobbie Robblee
Ch Jabrowoki's The Big
Chill
and
Camelot kennels were born. Snow has already produced a
champion, BOB winners and has other pointed dogs out.
During the showing of Snow ( CH Jabrwoki's the Big Chill )
we used the services of Terri Galle this is were my wife
fell in love with Boxers. She just had to have one so,
into our home came Gwen, Maxlan's Sweet Guenevier of
Camelot. Gwen first litter was in Nov. of 2006 and has
two nice males out.
Camelot strives to breed quality conformation dogs of sound
mind and body. We breed each litter as if its our last.
